REGULAMIN PROJEKTU
Do projektu GetSmarter mogą przystąpić studenci II i III roku studiów I stopnia, a także studenci I i II roku studiów II stopnia, którzy mają zaliczone na danym etapie kształcenia wszystkie przedmioty przewidziane w programie studiów.
Opiekunem naukowym studenta aplikującego o udział w projekcie GetSmarter może zostać każdy pracownik Wydziału BiOŚ UŁ oraz doktorant UŁ, a w przypadku realizacji projektu GetSmarter stanowiącego osiągnięcie w ramach pracy magisterskiej – nauczyciel akademicki Wydziału BiOŚ UŁ ze stopniem doktora.
O udział w projekcie GetSmarter student/studentka ubiega się na jeden semestr roku akademickiego, przy czym zakres realizowanych zadań badawczych powinien obejmować okres co najmniej 15 godzin pracy, a w przypadku realizacji projektu GetSmarter stanowiącego osiągnięcie pracy magisterskiej – nie mniej niż liczba godzin przewidzianych w programie studiów dla kierunku (przedmiot: Pracownia magisterska).
Aby mieć możliwość uczestnictwa w projekcie GetSmarter, student/studentka składa do Prodziekana ds. dydaktyki podanie wraz z planem projektu (Załącznik 1), podpisane przez opiekuna naukowego, który wyraża zgodę na objęcie aplikującego studenta opieką oraz zaopiniowane przez Kierownika Jednostki przyjmującej aplikanta.
Podanie informujące o planowanych zadaniach badawczych w ramach projektu GetSmarter należy złożyć w terminie 7 dni przed rozpoczęciem wolontariatu.
Student po ukończeniu projektu GetSmarter składa z końcem semestru raport z wykonania zaplanowanych zadań (Załącznik 2), podpisany przez opiekuna naukowego.
Student po ukończeniu projektu GetSmarter otrzymuje zaświadczenie na podstawie złożonego raportu. Na wniosek studenta udział w projekcie GetSmarter może zostać wpisany do suplementu jako dodatkowe osiągnięcie, z zastrzeżeniem pkt. 8 Regulaminu projektu GetSmarter (studenckiego wolontariatu naukowego) na Wydziale Biologii i Ochrony Środowiska UŁ.
Dopuszcza się, aby wyniki otrzymane w ramach realizacji projektu GetSmarter stanowiły osiągnięcie pracy magisterskiej*.
* Praca dyplomowa przygotowana pod kierunkiem nauczycieli akademickich zatrudnionych w grupie pracowników badawczych realizowana jest zgodnie z zasadami obowiązującymi na Wydziale BiOŚ.
Jednostka macierzysta opiekuna naukowego może ubiegać się o dofinansowanie badań, o ile wykaże istotny udział (współautorstwo) w powstaniu publikacji naukowej studenta Wydziału BiOŚ we wcześniejszej edycji projektu GetSmarter.
GetSmarter (student research volunteering) is a new project carried out under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection of the University of Lodz. By participating in the project, students will have the opportunity to broaden their interests and gain additional knowledge and skills in the discipline of biological sciences.
REGULATIONS OF THE GETSMARTER PROJECT
GetSmarter project is open to 2nd and 3rd-year students of 1st-cycle studies, as well as 1st and 2nd-year students of 2nd-cycle studies who have completed all the subjects provided in the study program at a given stage of education.
The scientific supervisor of a student applying for participation in the GetSmarter project can be any employee of the Faculty of BiOŚ UŁ or a doctoral student of the University of Łódź. In case of participation in the GetSmarter project as an achievement within the framework of a master's thesis - an academic teacher of the Faculty of BiOŚ UŁ with a Ph.D. degree.
The student applies for participation in the GetSmarter project for one semester of the academic year, the scope of the research tasks being carried out should cover a period of at least 15 hours of work. If the GetSmarter project was the achievement of a master's thesis - not less than the number of hours provided in the study program for the subject: Master’s laboratory.
In order to be able to participate in the GetSmarter project, the student submits an application to the Vice-Dean for Didactics of BiOŚ UŁ Faculty along with the project plan (Appendix 1), signed by the scientific supervisor with his approval and accepted by the head of the unit, where the project will take place.
An application notifying of the planned research tasks within the GetSmarter project must be submitted within 7 days prior to the start of volunteering.
At the end of the semester and after completing the GetSmarter project, the student submits a report on the implementation of planned tasks (Appendix 2), signed by the scientific supervisor.
After completing the GetSmarter project, the student receives a certificate based on the submitted report. At the student's request, participation in the GetSmarter project may be entered in the Supplement to the Diploma as an additional achievement, with regard to point 8 of the Regulations of the GetSmarter project (student research volunteering).
It is allowed that the results obtained during the GetSmarter project constitute the achievement within the master's thesis*.
* The diploma thesis prepared under the supervision of academic teachers employed in the group of researchers is carried out in accordance with the rules in force of the BiOŚ UŁ Faculty.
The parent unit of the scientific supervisor may apply for research funds if demonstrated significant participation (co-authorship) of the BiOŚ Faculty-student in the development of a scientific publication at the earlier edition of the GetSmarter project.
